Large cities around the world are under pressure due to rising populations. This creates demand for more housing, amenities, office and retail space, and many other things. An eye-catching project in LA

A great example of how to regenerate an infill site is a tower proposed for a plot in LA. The land is currently a commercial strip and car park. The proposal is to create a 26 storey mixed use tower. It will be home to around 300 apartments, shared amenities, a hotel, retail spaces, as well as underground parking. The property will have a narrow footprint and public plazas with greenery.

The incredible thing about the design is the curves. The building has a figure of eight footprint, making the facade look like a rolling wave. The external walls are glass and there will also be a series of terraces around the entire exterior. The result is a really attractive design.
