We were recently invited to participate in the live pitch for the moon hotel that would feature as part of the much publicised future plans of Richard Branson to expand into space tourism. Our vision for the Virgin Eye resort is accommodation that incorporates both relaxation and exploration. The lower floor would contain fully equipped training facilities, and when the time is right for guests they would explore the moon in their Dust Buggy. On the upper floor, the guests would participate in activities defined by low gravity. The resort itself faces Earth at all times. The Earth room is directly located behind the lens of the Earth. Our perspective for the project is the examination of our planet and the possibilities of relocation to the moon in the future.
