We deliver work that is based on our deep belief that the cultures and landscapes we find across the surface of the earth can effectively contribute to the way we design and construct new architecture. 15 years ago, Phil Coffey conceived of the idea to amalgamate his personal passions of travel and photography in order to scour the globe and acquire a unique collection of photographs to inform the work of our practice.

It is our belief that the word “outside” represents not that which we can simply see through our windows but the outside that covers the globe. Travelling the world has enabled us to gain valuable insight into the way architecture manages to embed itself into the way we live our lives. Witnessing some of the many different cultures of the world and the presence of the architecture amongst them solidifies our belief that architecture is about buildings possessing empathy for their surroundings and the way we function.
